Orsona Identity + Wayfinding

Client

ORSONA, Edinburgh

Orsona is an experience-led jewellery concept in Edinburgh, built around the ritual of choosing, creating and personalising jewellery together.

The identity had two jobs: look the part and quietly tell people what to do next. We started with illustration. A bespoke library of drawings became the brand’s second language, carried across the full brand suite, packaging and staff uniforms. It gives Orsona warmth, a little wit and it means the bag a customer leaves with feels like a keepsake of the visit, not just a wrapper for the purchase.

The same illustrations then went to work in the space. Walk into a room of hundreds of charms and a permanent jewellery bar for the first time and the natural question is: where do I start? The signage, point of sale and in-store graphics were designed to answer that before it’s asked.

Three simple prompts carry customers through the experience: pick your base, choose your charm, have it handmade. Each one sits exactly where that decision happens, set in Orsona’s cobalt blue against a calm backdrop of pale timber and terrazzo. Customers move with confidence, the team spends less time explaining and more time hosting and the shop floor keeps flowing when it’s busy.

The result is an identity that does more than look good on the bag. It explains, reassures and sells, turning a potentially daunting first visit into the best part of the experience.
