The Usher Building was conceived as a world-class hub for data-driven healthcare research, bringing together academics, industry, and public partners under one roof. Our role was to design interiors and a wayfinding system that not only supported this ambition but actively encouraged collaboration, engagement, and wellbeing.

Through a user-centred design approach, we created intuitive navigation, flexible layouts, and clear signposting that complement the building’s cutting-edge architecture. The result is a hybrid workplace and research environment that feels both functional and inspiring. The solution enables seamless movement, effortless collaboration, and a strong sense of place for everyone who uses it.
