Bad Hombre Group handed us a stark white unit in Edinburgh’s student district and four weeks to make it feel like it had a past.

On a tight budget we upcycled, recycled and reused wherever we could. Punk and rock ’n’ roll did the rest: wild-posted gig flyers, graffiti by local street artists and raw industrial finishes roughed up with vintage texture.

Delivered fast and on budget without dulling the edges.

A bar that looks like it has lived a little. Because, in a way, it has.
